Week 7-12

Well I finally had my baby! Camden Scott 6lb 10oz. Now he is 3 weeks old and 8lb 5oz. He is a little Chunky Monkey :)
Obviously anyone with a newborn knows that you really don't have time to even shower let alone get a good read in... but I have tried for this class.

Week 7- I finished the book Say When that I was reading. - 90 min
Week 8- I started reading " 101 things I wish I knew before I got married" Even though I thought my marriage was going to be perfect and there were no issues I couldn't have know that my husband was going to cheat and leave me for his ex wife being 6 months pregnant. I found this book really interesting though because even though it was not my fault I did find things in the book that made me definitely look back on things I could have or should have done differently. Being on bedrest this is one of the only things I actually could do was read. I finished most of the book in one week. I read for atleast 30 minutes a night. - 2 hours approx.
Week 9- Finished book-30 min, People Magazine-30 minutes WATER BROKE!
Week 10- This week was so Chaotic I barely had time to shower, do laundry, etc. Definitely hard on my own feeding a baby every 2 hours and in between that being exhausted, healing from labor, changing diapers, etc. But It was the week of thanksgiving and I did read the newspaper while my parents were playing pass the baby around. -30 minutes
Week 11- I read to Camden. Even though he has no idea I've heard its good to start reading early. Books like " I'll love you forever", "My first learning book"(50pages of colors, animals, numbers) "Hiccup book" "Wheels on the Bus"- 60 minutes total for the week
Week 12- Today I had the chance to Read the Sunday paper and People Magazine. I definitely missed my PEOPLE-60 minutes.

I have done other additional reading in my text books that has taken hours but I know that doesn't count. It is hard to read additional on top of that.

I hope EVERYONE has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! <3
